The Opportunity
As Head of Education & Program Delivery, you will provide executive leadership across all educational operations, program delivery and compliance functions.
You will oversee the development and implementation of high-impact vocational and engagement programs while building strong partnerships with schools, communities, industry and government stakeholders.
Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping organisational strategy, driving educational innovation and ensuring programs achieve measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the strategic direction of education and program delivery operations
* Design and implement innovative vocational and engagement programs
* Oversee training quality, compliance and continuous improvement frameworks
* Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary education and program delivery team
* Ensure compliance with ASQA, VET and relevant regulatory requirements
* Build strong relationships with schools, industry and community stakeholders
* Support culturally safe and trauma-informed educational practices
* Monitor program performance, participation and impact outcomes
* Drive innovation, growth and organisational capability
* Represent JT Academy across industry, government and community forums
About You
You are an experienced education executive or senior operational leader with a passion for creating meaningful outcomes for young people and communities.
You will bring:
* Significant senior leadership experience within education, training, youth services or community programs
* Strong understanding of vocational education, compliance and program delivery frameworks
* Experience leading teams and managing operational performance
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
* Experience working with vulnerable, disengaged or at-risk young people
* Strong strategic planning and organisational leadership capability
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* A genuine commitment to culturally responsive practice and community impact
Highly regarded
* Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
* Bachelor of Education
* TAE qualifications and/or education leadership qualifications
* Experience within regional or remote service delivery environments
