About You
Appointments in the CCC are merit-based and will be assessed by looking at what you have done previously—the knowledge, skills and experience you have built, your potential for development, and your personal qualities which align with the leadership competencies and the CCC's values.
There are no mandatory qualifications for this role. Possession of tertiary qualifications in disciplines related to insights and analytics is highly desirable (e.g. business intelligence, data science, information technology etc). Qualifications acquired from an overseas educational institution will only be accepted where the qualification has been recognised to an equivalent level in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework.
The CCC has adopted the Queensland Public Service Leadership competencies for Queensland for our positions. This role is mapped to the Individual Contributor profile which outlines the competency expectations and behaviors through the lens of vision, results, and accountability. For this role, we will consider how well you demonstrate:
* Strong technical skills
* At least 2 years' experience in creating, manipulating and visualising complex datasets on a range of platforms (e.g. SQL, PowerBI, Tableau)
* Experience developing and implementing reports and data visualisations that meet business requirements.
* Ability to apply statistical techniques to draw insights and identify trends from different sources of data, including exploratory analysis.
* Ability to communicate and engage with technical and non-technical audiences to identify and solve business problems.
* Strong insights and reporting product delivery skills including the ability to prepare project documents.
