Policy Officer Position
The Cyber and Infrastructure Security Centre seeks a seasoned Policy Officer to contribute to its mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough risk assessments and providing expert national security advice to government and industry stakeholders.
As a key member of the team, you will collaborate closely with critical infrastructure owners and operators across various sectors, including energy, water, transport, food, and telecommunications. Your expertise will enable the assessment of risks in accordance with legislative requirements, such as the Telecommunications and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2017 and the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018.
In this role, you will develop strategic and analytical products to inform industry awareness and departmental decision-making. You will also work with agencies across the National Intelligence Community to provide national security advice and respond to identified risks.
