* Temporary Full time (up to May 2028). 35 hours per week.
* Location: Sydney. Flexible and hybrid working options available.
* Clerk Grade: Level. Base salary $144,058 p.a. to $146,831 p.a. plus 12% superannuation and annual leave loading.

About the role
As a Solicitor IV, you will manage complex legal matters across advice, transactions and/or litigation within a specialist practice group. You'll provide high‐quality, customer‐centred legal services, supervise junior staff, and contribute to improving legal standards, procedures and precedents.
You will:
* Manage assigned legal matters in line with legislation, policies and best practice.
* Supervise legal work and support solicitors and paralegals in non‐legal matters.
* Participate in file reviews to manage risk and ensure compliance.
* Contribute to the development of legal policies, procedures, and precedents.
* Maintain accurate practice management, including time recording and cost estimates.
* Engage in professional development and support capability growth within the team.

About you
You are an experienced and ethical legal practitioner with strong analytical skills and sound judgement. You communicate clearly, can simplify complex legal issues, and work confidently with diverse and sometimes vulnerable clients. You collaborate well with colleagues, contribute positively to team culture, and are comfortable supervising or mentoring others. You consistently uphold professionalism, integrity and high quality legal practice.

Essential requirements
* A law degree from an accredited law school or completion of the Legal Practitioners Admission Board Diploma in Law.
* Admission as a legal practitioner in NSW, with a current NSW practising certificate.
