Kanda is seeking dedicated and skilled team members to provide meaningful support to people with disabilities – including those with higher or more complex care needs.
Responsibilities
Support NDIS participants with behaviour management and trauma recovery
Provide person-centred, trauma-informed care in home and community settings
Flexible shifts - Casual & Part-Time Roles Available
Support participants to manage daily routines while navigating trauma or mental health challenges
Apply Positive Behaviour Support strategies and de-escalation techniques
Provide trauma-informed care aligned with individual behaviour support plans
Support clients with dual diagnoses (mental health & disability) in a respectful, non-judgmental way
Encourage emotional regulation, independence, and community engagement
Maintain detailed, objective documentation to support behaviour tracking and incident review

Requirements
NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
Available to work across a full shift pattern (mornings, evenings, sleepovers)
Valid unrestricted driver's licence
Experience supporting people with disabilities in community or residential settings
Comfortable delivering clinical and personal care supports as required
Background in related fields such as nursing, mental health, aged care, or disability support
