Community and Engagement Specialist
This role is responsible for providing professional communications advice, guidance, and support to aid the development of stakeholder engagement strategies and key messages that support successful project outcomes.
The specialist will work with a team of experts to ensure communications are coordinated and consistent across the organization. They will understand the communication opportunities and challenges of the project and develop a strategy to address them.
The Community and Engagement Specialist will also develop and deliver a tactical communications plan, considering external engagement and key messages while working alongside stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develops strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence and create alignment in messaging and effectively manage issues
* Engages with business units to facilitate effective working relationships
* Maintains an internal and external network to foster and facilitate project communications
* Engages with internal stakeholders to gain their buy-in and support to foster a strong stakeholder engagement culture
Requirements:
* Degree qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Media Management, or a related discipline
* Substantial experience in delivering communication programs and providing advice and support at a corporate level in a large organization
* In-depth knowledge of available communication channels
* Demonstrated ability to engender employee engagement, commitment, and advocacy
