We are currently seeking an Export Seafreight Operator to join our team in Brisbane.
Your purpose:
* Coordinate all Export bookings within the team for Sea Shipments
* Transport is arranged per customers request and aligning with vessels receival dates
* Liaise with shipping lines for coordination of all bookings
* Forwarding instructions and country document cut offs are being issued to the shipping line and/or overseas office
* All shipments to be invoiced on time and accurately
* Pre Alerts issued on time and accurately
* Communicate any shipment delays and issues to customers and/or overseas offices
* Transshipment cargo to be monitored
You'll bring:
* Minimum 2+ years of export freight forwarding experience required
* Valid DG Certification (Sea) preferred
* CargoWise experience preferred
* Knowledge of customs and regulatory compliance
* Proactive Communication skills
* Strong understanding of MS office suite (word, excel, etc.)
