Electrician/Facilities Assistant Location: North Sydney Role: Permanent | Full Time Monday to Friday Salary: $90k -$100k super We're currently seeking a hands-on Electrician/Facilities Assistant to join a team in North Sydney. This is your chance to make an impact by supporting the smooth operations and high standards of a world-class school campus. Hands on c arpentry or electrical or plumbing qualification is essential. About the Role Reporting to the Head of Facilities, you'll play a key role in maintaining the campus' buildings and facilities. You'll help ensure everything runs efficiently and safely, supporting an exceptional student and staff experience from behind the scenes. Please note: candidates must have full Australian working rights. Key Responsibilities: Perform a broad range of general support services across the school, including assistance with relocations, deliveries, and setup/pack-down for various school events and functions. Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as painting, lock repairs, light bulb replacements, Test and Tag activities, and general grounds upkeep. Build and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, and external contractors, ensuring consistent and timely communication with all stakeholders. Conduct regular cleaning, washing, and minor upkeep of the school's fleet vehicles. Support the coordination and oversight of external service providers to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of facilities management services.
