THE ROLE
As Senior Project Officer, you will support the Deployment Manager in coordinating the activities of Deployment Groups within the Finance Reform Program. You will play a key role in planning, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones. You'll contribute to a major system transformation that will modernise financial processes across government. Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement across Deployment Groups
* Preparing workshop materials and developing deployment-related content
* Assisting in the development and maintenance of project schedules
* Monitoring progress against timelines and escalating risks or delays as required
* Coordinating status updates and reporting to internal teams and governance groups
* Managing project documentation in line with State Records Act 1997 and relevant policies
* Identifying, reporting, and assisting in resolving project risks and issues
* Supporting change, communication, and training activities to drive user adoption
* Building strong relationships to foster collaboration and accountability
