Overview
Program Manager – National Lung Cancer Screening Program (NLCSP) within Population Screening and Cancer Prevention, focusing on implementation and program development across Tasmania.
Responsibilities
* Provide project management leadership and advice to support the implementation of the NLCSP within established national and jurisdictional frameworks, working collaboratively with Commonwealth and state stakeholders.
* Provide expert advice and support to PSCP teams, Department of Health and Primary Health Network stakeholders in the development of a Tasmanian Health Pathway for the NLCSP and the development of tools and resources to support planning, documentation, change management and implementation activities.
* Lead the collation, analysis and dissemination of emerging evidence and policy advice relevant to the NLCSP, ensuring advice is accurate, timely and aligned with program requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
* Demonstrated experience in project management, implementation science, program development, quality improvement or related fields, preferably within a public healthcare environment, supported by relevant qualifications where applicable.
* Demonstrated expertise in leading program development projects and extensive experience in development of project and change management plans, program logics, and business plans.
* Proven ability to measure, evaluate and report on project outcomes using structured evaluation methods, data analysis and evidence-based approaches.
Eligibility (Desirable)
* Tertiary qualifications in a health‐related discipline.
* Current Driver's Licence.
Appointment Details
Fixed‐term full‐time day‐worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for 24 months. Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. 12% superannuation contribution on salary.
Salary
$102,027 to $106,985 per annum, in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025.
