The Role
* Undertake legal and legal policy research (including in relation to Government workplace relations priorities).
* Summarise Court and tribunal decisions of interest.
* Update fact sheets and tracking tables to reflect developments in the law.
* Prepare minutes of meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
* Proof legislative process documents (including explanatory memoranda and talking points).
* Summarise submissions of external stakeholders relating to proposed amendments to workplace relations legislation.
* Prepare Parliamentary debate folders and Senate Estimates folders.
* Update project trackers.
* General administration.
* Records management.
Qualifications and Education
A completed (or currently undertaking) Bachelor of Laws from an Australian university is mandatory for this role.
