Job Role: Positive Behaviour Support Specialist
We are seeking a behaviour support specialist to provide evidence-based support to NDIS participants. The role involves assessing needs, developing tailored support plans and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of NDIS participants to identify their unique needs and goals.
* Develop and implement individualised support plans that cater to the complex needs of each participant.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers and occupational therapists.
Key Requirements:
* Experience working with individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
* Relevant degree in a field such as psychology, social work or occupational therapy.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with participants and their families.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with high flexibility and adaptability.
