Manager, Governance - Commercial Banking (Westpac Group)
As Manager, Governance, you'll play a key role in supporting the Commercial Bank's risk governance framework, coordinating governance forums, preparing executive-level papers, and maintaining critical governance registers and controls to ensure processes are well-structured, compliant, and aligned with regulatory expectations.
This full-time role is based in Sydney with a hybrid working model.
You'll work closely with senior leaders across the Business & Wealth Division, contributing to the decision-making rhythm and helping shape how risk is managed across the bank.
What does this role require?
Proven experience in governance, risk, or compliance within a large organisation.
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise papers for senior audiences.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
A collaborative mindset and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and governance obligations.
