Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Fleet Management Specialist. Reporting to the Superintendent of Technology Operations, this role involves delivering technical support and expertise to ensure the Fleet Management System operates effectively.
This permanent position is based at our Pilbara operation in Western Australia, on an 8/6 FIFO roster (days only).
The successful candidate will have experience in mining technology projects and advanced skills in FMS operation and troubleshooting. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and a current WA Driver's License.
* Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with the implementation and ongoing operation of the Fleet Management System.
2. Provide user support and operational advice to Mine Control and Technology teams.
3. Support hardware/software installation, configuration, and testing.
4. Manage vendor support relationships.
5. Develop training and work instructions for FMS operations and maintenance.
6. Lead testing of updates to ensure system stability and assess business risks.
7. Monitor product roadmap and lifecycle, aligning with business needs.
8. Collaborate on scheduled equipment servicing to minimize downtime.
9. Proactively analyze FMS performance and drive system improvements.
About You
Ideal candidates will have a degree or trade certificate in Mining, Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent experience. Practical experience in mining technology projects is highly desirable.
