We are currently seeking a seasoned Hospitality Expert to spearhead our hotel's reservations operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient systems to manage room inventory, rates, and booking policies across various platforms.
This role is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the launch of our new property, Crowne Plaza Shell Cove Marina. As a Reservations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing a smooth and profitable reservations operation from the pre-opening phase through to day-to-day operations.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Front Office/Reservations and at least 12 months of experience in Reservations Management, preferably with experience in hotel openings and pre-openings. They will also have proven yield management skills, experience with third-party websites, and extensive knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Excel.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Implementing revenue-maximising strategies and setting up room inventory, rate codes, packages, restrictions, and booking policies.
* Assisting in pricing strategy and forecasting during the pre-opening revenue planning phase.
* Developing SOPs, scripts, service standards, and training materials for the reservations team.
* Participating in the recruitment, training, and onboarding of Reservations Agents to deliver high-quality service.
* Conducting trial runs and test scenarios to ensure reservation system integrity and team readiness before go-live.
Operational responsibilities will include managing all reservations operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and maximised room revenue. This will involve monitoring and optimising hotel occupancy, rate integrity, and inventory control, as well as analysing booking trends and generating daily/weekly/monthly reservation reports.
