Role Summary

Toshiba is seeking a Site Manager to work within its Projects and Construction Team in our Energy Systems and Services Division (ESS). The role involves managing project works on our customer power generation sites.

Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Ensure Safety is managed as the highest priority on our project sites
* Manage the Toshiba project team on site including engineering, supervision and trades labour to carry out project and maintenance activities
* Manage and report on site installation progress and schedule, including variations to schedule and manage delays.
* Ensure Toshiba site and financial systems reporting systems and tools are completed and adhered to.
* Manage timesheets for labour and track/allocate hours against workorders.
* Schedule and manage sub-suppliers and contractors to ensure the financial objectives of the works are achieved.
* Prepare and document non-conformance reports and track resources used in addressing these non-conformances.
* Work with the Sales on estimating project tenders for site works
* Ensure that work is performed in accordance with quality, health and safety requirements.

Requirements

* Significant, demonstrated experience in a similar role as an infrastructure construction site manager.
* Strong project and staff management experience
* High level of IT skills including the Microsoft Suite of products and financial database ability
* Degree or Trade qualification
* Power Generation experience will be highly regarded.
* Ability to spend periods away from home whilst mobilised to the project sites – this may be up to 6 months per year depending on project workload.
