About the opportunity
Bolton Clarke is seeking a Senior Credit Manager to provide strategic leadership and operational excellence for our Residential Aged Care (RAC) credit function. Managing a portfolio of 88 care homes with annual revenues of $1.3 billion, this role plays a key role in driving commercial outcomes, minimising risk, and ensuring compliance across the credit lifecycle. You'll lead a high-performing team, partner with senior stakeholders, and represent the organisation in complex legal and financial matters. This is an opportunity to influence strategy, implement innovative processes, and deliver measurable results in a dynamic environment.
Key Activities:
* Develop and execute RAC credit strategy aligned with organisational objectives.
* Oversee complex, high-value accounts and lead negotiations, collections, and dispute resolution.
* Represent Bolton Clarke in legal proceedings and stakeholder engagements.
* Drive process innovation and implement technology solutions for efficiency and scalability.
* Lead and mentor a high-performing credit team, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
* Deliver executive-level reporting and insights to optimise cash flow and minimise bad debt.

About you
* Bachelor's degree in Law, Economics, Business, Accounting or related discipline (legal/paralegal background highly desirable).
* Proven success in senior credit management or collections within corporate or B2C environments.
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
* Advanced commercial acumen and legal understanding of contracts and authorities.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in Excel and experience driving system/process improvements.
