Location – Glasshouse Views is a 99 Bed Residential Aged Care Home located in Beerwah.
The Job
You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. The Chef Manager position is a great opportunity to move into an essential and secure industry.
The Chef Manager will have:
* Demonstrated leadership experience as a Chef, preferably in an aged care (or similar) environment.
* Previous experience in total kitchen operations and site management in an aged care (or similar) environment.
* Experience managing staff as well as food and operational costs.
* Demonstrated knowledge regarding nutrition and the importance of dietary requirements for aged care consumers.
* Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or proven equivalent experience).
* A real commitment to working safely, fabulous teamwork skills, basic computer skills, and a passion for making a difference. Aged care experience is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
