Reporting to the Board, you will:
* Provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the organisation continues to promote, protect and grow its sports.
* Identify and develop new opportunities to bolster resources and ensure the sport is accessible for all.
* Drive organisational performance and improvement, embedding a positive, professional, values-led culture.
* Strengthen governance controls & tools to ensure that any amendments are done so with a high level of probity, consideration and are fit for purpose.
* Represent the organisation at events across the country.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Project Management or equivalent.
* Strong capability in strategy, finance, governance and people and change leadership.
* Proven executive leadership experience, bonus points if it's within a member-based or sporting organisation.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills — able to unite diverse voices behind a shared vision and take people on the journey in respect to change and doing things differently.
