This is an exciting opportunity to be a Strategic Advisor to the State Courts Administrator.
**About the Organisation**:
- The Courts Administration Authority (CAA) provides participating Courts and court users with services and facilities that support the proper administration of justice on behalf of the people of South Australia.
It is independent of the legislative and executive arms of government and is the means by which the judiciary of the State controls the administration of courts through which judicial power is exercised.
- The State Courts Administrator's (SCA) office is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight of the CAA. This includes setting and executing the CAA's vision and goals, making critical decisions and driving innovation and growth.
- The SCA's office liaises with key stakeholders, including the Attorney-General's Department, SA Police, Department for Human Services and other external partners, ensuring transparent communication and strong relationships.
Through adherence to regulatory and ethical standards, the SCA's office ensures the CAA's sustainable growth and long-term success.
**Special Conditions**:
- This is a long-term contract for 12 months with a possibility of extension.
- Appointment is under the _Courts Administration Act 1993_. Terms and Conditions of employment are governed by the _Public Sector Act 2009._
- Appointment is dependent upon a current National Police Clearance that the CAA finds satisfactory.
- As a justice agency, the CAA may receive details of spent convictions as part of any Criminal History Screening and use this information in the selection process.
- May be required to work outside of the normal hours of work and undertake intrastate travel which may necessitate overnight absences.
**Requirements**:
- Ability to understand and interpret data and use it to inform and support presentations, reports, or proposals.
**Remuneration**:
ASO7 ($108,109 - $116,864 per annum + 11.5% superannuation)
