The role of teaching at Horizon Christian School is considered to be a calling in the Christian-missional sense of the word. Horizon Christian School teachers desire to develop the whole child in a caring, nurturing environment in the knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
HASS, History and Economics or any other subject would be advantageous.
Position to commence in Semester 2 2026.
Applications should include:
* Cover Letter (1-2 pages discussing your teaching philosophy, ambitions and suitability)
* Current resume, which must include:
o Your relevant degrees and tertiary qualifications (with major and minor fields of study)
o Relevant further Education courses undertaken (including Christian study)
o Relevant employment experience you have had
o If you are currently studying.
o Teacher's Registration Certificate
o Teaching experience including subjects and year levels taught
o Current Child Safe Environments documents:
+ Working with Children Check
+ Responding to Abuse and Neglect (RAN)Training Certificate
+ First Aid training (optional).
o Other relevant documents where appropriate
Graduate applicants are welcome to apply, and should include:
* Most recent teaching Practicum reports
Overseas Applicants may apply, but must include:
* Ability to work in South Australia:
o Visa information, and eligibility to work in South Australia
o South Australian Teachers Registration Certificate
