An innovative Federal Government Agency is looking to engage an experienced Scrum Master/Delivery Manager to support delivery of an ICT Transition Program. The role covers both BAU support and technical leadership for migration, configuration & ongoing support. The Scrum Master/Delivery Manager will work across Microsoft 365 and related workplace platform streams to ensure coordinated planning, transparent reporting, and delivery aligned to governance obligations, based in Canberra, ACT with flexible work arrangements!
Responsibilities
* Lead and facilitate agile ceremonies and establish delivery cadence, working agreements, Definition of Ready/Done, and lightweight governance suitable for a regulated government environment.
* Partner with Product Owners, technical leads and architects to shape and maintain prioritised backlogs for Microsoft 365 and related platform work.
* Plan and track delivery across sprints/releases, including milestones, dependencies, critical path, risks, issues and impediments; proactively remove blockers.
* Support transition activities including service readiness, operational handover, documentation completion (HLD/LLD, runbooks/SOPs, as-built), and change/release planning.
* Ensure delivery aligns with cyber security, compliance, and assurance requirements, escalating where delivery risk impacts security posture.
Qualifications
* Experience supporting ICT service transition activities (service readiness, cutover planning, operational handover) in line with ITSM practices.
* Experience working in or alongside cyber security and assurance processes within Australian Government environments.
* Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and automation delivery approaches to better plan and sequence technical work.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., Scrum Master certification, SAFe, PRINCE2 Agile, MSP, or equivalent).
