Located in the town of Woorabinda in Central Queensland, Woorabinda State School is situated 170 km southwest of Rockhampton on the traditional lands of the Wadja Wadja and Ghungalu Aboriginal people. Woorabinda State School is a Kindergarten to Year Six school with eleven classes of 235 children.
The school's motto is 'Proud and Deadly', with our school values – We are deadly by being – kind, strong, respectful. The school has an outstanding teaching team from diverse backgrounds.
The leadership team consists of the principal, two deputy principals (Teaching and Learning, Wellbeing), a Head of Curriculum and Head of Special Education Services.
Specialist staff include an Inclusion teacher and a physical education teacher.
