The Role Details
The G0 Ward (Acute Assessment, Stroke and Medical) at Mackay Base Hospital seeks a Clinical Nurse Facilitator to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be primarily accountable for supporting, orientating and mentoring postgraduate nurses and new staff. Clinical facilitation is delivered at the point of clinical care to support clinicians in achieving skill acquisition and practice development.
About The Team
The G0 Ward provides nursing care to patients with acute medical conditions, acute stroke and exacerbations of chronic disease as well as palliative care. Our unit consists of 22 funded beds inclusive of 4 Stroke beds. We strive to provide client-centred and recovery-focused services, aiming to develop lifelong learning opportunities that encourage best practice and practice development among all staff members.
