Bike and Rider' is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Motorcycle Technician to join their team in Mount Isa, Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity to kick-start your career in the motorcycle trades industry and gain hands-on experience servicing and repairing motorcycles.
Key responsibilities
* Assist in the diagnosis, service, and repair of motorcycles under the guidance of experienced technicians
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tune-ups, and brake inspections
* Learn to use specialised tools and equipment to diagnose and repair complex motorcycle issues
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and to the highest standards
* Maintain detailed records of work performed
* Participate in ongoing training and development to expand your skills and knowledge
What we're looking for
* Passion for motorcycles and a keen interest in the automotive industry
* Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Commitment to completing a formal apprenticeship program
* Must have valid Australian work rights including all visa types
* Minimum age requirement of 15 years to commence apprenticeship
