Role: Senior Educator
Organisation: Goodstart Early Learning
Location: Perth region, WA – all centres located within the Perth and surrounds region in WA
Salary Range: $38.20 p/hr to $39.35 p/hr + Superannuation (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Employment Type: Full-time Permanent
Responsibilities
* Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
* Lead a classroom effectively with passion and enthusiasm, engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program.
* Utilise and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide to deliver high-quality education and practice in collaboration with the Education Leader.
* Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies, Procedures and Requirements.
* Positively contribute to delivering the centre and business plans.
Qualifications / What You'll Need
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education
* Current Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
* Ability to lead a classroom effectively, engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program
* Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families
* Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement
* Seek and share best practice examples to improve the education program
* Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members
