About the Role
Reporting to the Joinery Manager, the French Polisher supports the Factory Foreman in the operation and completion of designated joinery projects. This hands-on role involves preparing and finishing high-end timber products to the highest Euroline standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, stain, and polish timber surfaces to achieve premium finishes.
Uphold WHS standards through maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work area.
Work collaboratively with production, project, and design teams to meet deadlines.
Communicate clearly to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
Report and assist in resolving safety issues or concerns.
Participate in defects rectification programs and ensure quality standards are met.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience as a French Polisher, preferably within a joinery or furniture manufacturing environment.
Strong technical skills and attention to detail in finishing and polishing.
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Reliable, self-motivated, and quality-driven.
