About Us
Glenview Community Services are a leading Tasmanian aged care provider based in Hobart's northern suburbs. We are part of our community and provide a diverse suite of services, from tailored home care to our state-of-the-art purpose-built dementia care village.
We are looking for exceptional support staff to provide in-home support and services, who can embrace diversity and thrive when supporting people to live their best lives. We support a wide range of community-based clients across Southern Tasmania.
Essential criteria
* Ability to deliver personal support within a community setting which reflects person centered care practice with a strong emphasis on consultation, choice, and accountability to consumer/participant.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Certificate III in Community Services.
* Satisfactory National Police Check valid within 12 months.
* Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration with NDIS Endorsement.
* Eligibility to work in Australia.
* Must have own road worthy vehicle and full unrestricted Australian Driver license (NOT Provisional), with comprehensive car insurance.
* A current First Aid certification (or the ability to acquire one).
* HLTHPS006 Assist Clients with Medication (desirable, but not required).
Details
Permanent part time or casual work is available for the right candidate. Candidates require reasonable availability on weekdays between 7am – 4pm, and a willingness to commute between clients in the community.
