Busy Bees at Armstrong Creek is a modern, purpose-built centre with 126 licensed places, located in the growing Armstrong Creek community. We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Chef who is passionate about preparing nutritious meals for children and contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.

About the Role
In this role, you will:
* Prepare and cook nutritious, age-appropriate meals that meet dietary and allergy requirements
* Plan weekly menus aligned with Busy Bees nutrition guidelines
* Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene practices
* Ensure the kitchen is clean, organised, and compliant with regulatory standards
* Manage stock levels and place food orders as needed
* Build warm, professional relationships with children, families, and educators
* Bring creativity, efficiency, and a commitment to high-quality nutrition
* Demonstrate experience working in a childcare environment
What You'll Need
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
* Valid VIC Working with Children Check (Employee)
* Food Safety / Food Handling Certification
* Understanding of nutrition, dietary needs, allergies, and menu planning
* Strong organisation, time management, and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Australian working rights
