Your part in St Andrew's War Memorial
Our Cardiac Cath Lab Services team provide both diagnostic and interventional cardiac services across three laboratories. Progress in the area of cardiology at St Andrew's continues to strengthen with our cardiac teams using the latest technology and ground-breaking procedures to ensure we are at the forefront of the treatment of cardiac disease. We are constantly working to meet the challenges of cardiac health issues, to extend and give our patients a better quality of life.
The successful applicant will have proven experience in radiographic technique, and a good knowledge of cardiac and vascular angiography. They will also demonstrate a high standard of patient care, have initiative and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team environment.
What Makes a difference for us?
* Bachelor of Applied Science - Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
* 2+ years experience as a Radiographer
* Knowledge of and proficiency in interventional radiography particularly cardiac, vascular and pain desirable
* Possess a licence to use irradiating apparatus
* Experience using Siemens and/or Phillips equipment
* Ability to work flexible hours on an 'on-call' roster
