Assistant Director for Imagine Childcare and Preschool Blueridge Park.
Primarily supports centre operations, mentors staff, handles staffing rosters, finances, and builds relationships with families and community.
Responsibilities
* Assist with managing day‐to‐day operations in accordance with legislative requirements and company policies.
* Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to dedicated staff.
* Handle and support the centre's staffing rosters and financial requirements in line with budget guidelines.
* Establish and nurture strong relationships with children, families, educators, the local business community, and all stakeholders.
* Participate in attracting, converting, and retaining families through effective management of tours, enrolments, and orientation in collaboration with our Enrolments Team.
Qualifications
* Hold a Diploma in Children's Services or an Early Childhood Degree approved by ACECQA.
* Previous experience as an Assistant Director in an early childhood setting.
* Current Blue Card, approved First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma qualifications.
* Extensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
* Ability to implement stimulating programs and develop a curriculum based on children's interests and the EYLF.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to lead and mentor a team of dedicated early childhood professionals.
* Ability to incorporate critical thinking and reflective practice into daily operations.
