The property boasts 225 rooms of varying styles, four dining outlets, poolside bars, tour desk, resort shop and a comprehensive Day Spa and Hair Salon.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including maintaining a high level of visibility and hands-on approach during service periods.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
* Maintaining a customer-focused approach by ensuring service standards are consistently met
* Ensuring the presentation of the restaurant and staff meets the required standards
* Training and induction of new staff, as well as ongoing coaching and team development
* Procurement of stock in a timely manner and in line with established guidelines
The successful candidate will possess:
* Experience working in a high-end la carte restaurant at middle management level
* Hotel restaurant experience is highly desirable
* Formal qualifications in Hospitality or Restaurant Management, or equivalent level of relevant work experience
* Demonstrated ability in training, development and counseling of staff
* A current RSA certificate or the ability to obtain one
* Good wine knowledge
* High level of personal presentation and grooming
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
