The role of
Assistant Company Secretary
at
TasNetworks
will join our dynamic Company Secretariat team, to provide high-quality compliance and secretarial support, and contribute to the smooth operation of the TasNetworks' Group Boards and Committees.
The role will build and maintain diverse stakeholder relationships and is responsible for:
* Coordinate the preparation and delivery of Board and Committee meetings — from high-quality papers and minutes to action tracking.
* Assist with corporate and regulatory reporting obligations, including ASIC lodgements and maintaining accurate records.
* Provide timely governance advice and support across the TasNetworks Group.
* Manage the effective flow of information between the Board, Committees, CEO, and Executive team.
* Support governance processes including Board evaluations, Director recruitment, induction, and training.
* Maintain the Board's annual planner to ensure all key tasks are delivered on time
About You
You're a highly organised professional with proven company secretarial or governance experience and a passion for delivering quality outcomes. You will also bring:
* Strong planning, coordination, and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing and editing Board-level documents.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with board management software (e.g., Diligent).
* Relevant qualifications in Law, Governance and/or Business Management (or equivalent experience).
* A collaborative mindset, high ethical standards, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
