Description
As a Leading Hand Electrician, you will play a key role in supporting underground mining operations by coordinating electrical maintenance and project work. Working on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster, you'll lead a small team of electricians while ensuring all electrical systems, equipment and infrastructure are maintained to the highest safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities
* Supervising and supporting a team of site electricians
* Coordinating daily electrical tasks, breakdown response and planned maintenance
* Ensuring compliance with site electrical standards and statutory requirements
* Fault finding, installation and maintenance of underground and surface electrical systems
* Providing technical guidance and promoting best practice electrical safety
* Liaising with supervisors, engineers and contractors to deliver safe, productive outcomes
Qualifications
* Qualified Electrician with a current electrical licence
* Strong background in mining electrical maintenance (underground experience essential)
* Proven leadership or Leading Hand experience
* Valid driver's licence
* Ability to pass pre‑employment medical and site onboarding requirements
* Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
