The Package:
$1, $1,514.87 gross per week + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 8 of the QPRC Salary System 2025), plus potential performance-based progression.
Full time – 38 hours per week. 9-day fortnight conditions will apply.
Are you an experienced construction and maintenance operator with an eye for detail and ability to lead? Council is seeking a motivated worker to lead and support in the construction and maintenance of drainage and road structures in your local community.
In This Role You Will
* Provide on-site supervision, guidance, and support to the Drainage and Patching team.
* Operate excavator and other Council plant equipment to complete work efficiently.
* Support the construction and maintenance of roads, drainage systems, concrete structures, and other related projects.
* Ensure a safe working site is established and maintained.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
* Relevant qualifications and/or experience in construction and maintenance projects.
* Proven ability to plan, organise, and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes.
* Capability to effectively communicate, lead and motivate staff.
* Possesses essential qualifications and licences to complete relevant work.
