Remuneration: $123,737 to $137,091 per annum (including salary of $104,560 to $115,844 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)
Equivalent hourly rate: $55.28 to $61.25 per hour
As a TAFE Teacher – Community Services, you will design and deliver high‐quality vocational education and training aligned with industry standards, supporting a diverse range of learners. You'll teach across classroom, online and workplace settings, maintain strong industry connections, and ensure compliance with VET and RTO requirements.
Responsibilities
* Design, deliver and assess vocational education and training across diverse learning environments (classroom, online, workplace).
* Engage and support learners from diverse backgrounds.
* Maintain effective industry relationships and ensure compliance with VET and RTO requirements.
* Prepare and maintain training materials and assessment strategies aligned with industry standards.
Position Requirements
* Possession of relevant vocational qualification(s) at the level equivalent to or higher than the level to be delivered: industry qualification (certificate, trade certificate, diploma, degree or masters).
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a Diploma or higher qualification in Adult Education (or equivalent), or willingness to obtain.
* Ability to design, deliver, and assess vocational education and training across diverse learning environments.
* Strong ability to engage and support learners from diverse backgrounds and maintain effective industry relationships.
* Diploma of Community Services or higher, Cert IV Youth Work, Cert IV Child Youth and Family Intervention, or higher and/or an Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Case Management CHC62015 (Desirable).
