Job Description
As the Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for driving purchasing initiatives, supporting internal departments, and maintaining and developing strong supplier relationships.
This role is based in Karawatha, Brisbane and reports to the Head of Procurement.
You will…
- Coordinate and process purchase orders within company systems.
- Conduct daily checks on incoming goods to ensure high quality standards are maintained.
- Work closely with demand planning and production teams to align purchases with daily production plans and forecasts.
- Manage stock replenishment, with a focus on product shelf life.
- Develop key supplier relationships for positive and ongoing stock deals.
- Liaise with all departments in a professional and timely manner.
- Support the preparation and process of RFI's and RFP's to procure value-for-money solutions.
You have/are
- Prior experience working in a busy environment as a Purchasing Officer or Buyer, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- A solid background in inventory management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly accurate with a strong attention to detail.
- A positive "can-do" attitude.

Start Date: Immediately available - Can wait a notice period
Duration: Permanent full time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia
