One of our major developer clients is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a significant mixed‑use, city‑fringe redevelopment comprising residential, retail, hospitality and community spaces. About the Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing day‑to‑day operations and driving successful project outcomes across planning, approvals, design coordination and delivery. You will ensure quality, safety and compliance across all phases, while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This role requires someone confident in making informed, on‑the‑spot decisions on site, particularly when working closely with subcontractors to keep the project moving smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead project planning, design coordination, approvals and end‑to‑end delivery
* Coordinate consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams
* Oversee site operations, resource allocation and subcontractor management
* Manage schedules, budgets and reporting to ensure milestones are achieved
* Implement quality and safety frameworks aligned to regulatory requirements
* Provide clear reporting on progress, risks and key issues
* Build strong stakeholder relationships and navigate a complex project environment
* Negotiate effectively and make informed, strategic decisions
* Foster a collaborative, high‑performing team culture
About You
* Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
* Proven experience delivering large‑scale or complex construction/development projects
* Preferably experience working on civil projects
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Demonstrated capability in planning, problem‑solving and prioritising multiple workstreams
