We are currentlyseeking an experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team.
This is a great opportunity to build your career in a stable and growing environment.To be considered for this role you must have:- Qualification equivalent to Certificate III in Wall and Floor tiling or at least 3 years of related work experience in the field- At least 1 years of work experience is required- You must be an Australian Citizen/Permanent resident or have legal working rights in Australia.Key Responsibilities- Plan and organize tiling work according to project needs.
- Prepare surfaces and ensure they are ready for tiling, including waterproofing.
- Lay tiles with precision and secure them properly.
- Fix or replace damaged tiles when necessary.
- Achieve high-quality, durable, and visually appealing finishes.Main Tasks- Review plans and measurements, and arrange layouts for walls and floors.
- Strip old tiles and adhesives, repair any surface defects, and clean areas before tiling.
- Apply protective and waterproofing layers to ensure long-lasting results.
- Cut and adjust tiles to fit corners, edges, fixtures, and pipes.
- Spread adhesive, position tiles accurately, and maintain consistent spacing and alignment.
- Complete installations by grouting, polishing, and finishing surfaces for a professional look.
- Design and implement custom tile patterns, mosaics, or decorative features based on client requests.Preferred Skills- Technical proficiency in tiling techniques.
