Jacko's Auto and Marine Electrics are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrician to join our team, providing exceptional marine electrical services to exacting standards.
Duties & responsibilities:
* Diagnose, service, and repair electrical systems on customers' boats working independently
* Perform rewiring on marine vessels to manufacturer specifications
* Service and replace inverter batteries and charging systems
* Carry out comprehensive diagnostics on marine electrical vaults
* Work alongside our apprentice to mentor and support their development
* Follow vessel owners' instructions to ensure all work meets their specific requirements
* Ensure all repairs are performed in accordance with company guidelines and marine industry standards
* Maintain detailed records of work performed to company standards
Experience & attributes
* Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (Essential)
* Current Contract Licence (Essential)
* Proven experience in marine electrical services
* Detailed knowledge of marine electrical and wiring systems
* Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
* Ability to work independently and meet project requirements
* Full Australian working rights and current Australian driver's licence
