In the role of Program Officer (Road Information Systems) you will support the delivery of TMR's Queensland Transport & Road Investment Program (QTRIP) by ensuring a high standard of integrity for data entered into the “A Road Management Information System” (ARMIS) database suite for road infrastructure projects.
Some Of Your Responsibilities Will Include
Undertake accurate data collection, storage, distribution and auditing to ensure the integrity of the Department's ARMIS road management information system, in particular the Road Reference and Road Inventory sub-systems for the District's QTRIP Program. Liaise with District and project staff to identify the business needs to be met from the Departments technical and road information systems, and liaise with designers,
engineers, and other staff to ensure the most current information is accurately interpreted and entered into the system in relation to the District's QTRIP road infrastructure projects.
Interpret road construction information and use infrastructure asset knowledge to undertake site inspections to confirm data for the District's QTRIP road infrastructure program. Analyse and interpret technical, design and engineering documents/plans including as-constructed drawings to ensure high quality and current processes, information and systems are used. Analyse, interpret and ensure accurate reporting on complex road information using a range of reporting tools (for example, complex system reports, spreadsheets, TOAD, charts and maps using MapInfo, ARMIS, GIS and more).
Mandatory Qualifications And Conditions
The successful applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment checks including criminal history screening, and complete a serious discipline history declaration Current C class drivers' licence
Desirable
High level knowledge and experience in the use and operation of the ARMIS database suite. Knowledge of TARS Information and end of year closure processing requirements.
