We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Teaching Assistant for someone with experience, or maybe a person who is looking to challenge themselves and further develop their skills. The role will involve supporting children in our Key Stage 1 classes, to enjoy their time at school and make good progress in their learning. If you have been trained in teaching Read, Write Inc, or any other accredited phonics scheme, that would be brilliant! We are also looking for someone with Key Stage 1 experience. Stanton Cross is a new school in the heart of the Stanton Cross development in Wellingborough. We deliver an enriched,relevantandengaging curriculum which enables children to become knowledgeable,adaptableand confident to reach their own academic potential.
Eventually, we will educate 420 children in ourstate-of-the-artbuilding but as we grow, we are opening to one-year group at a time. We currently have two classes in Reception,Year1andYear 2 andone class in Year3. We area very diverseschool with a third of our children speaking more than one language which makes our school a vibrant place to be.
