Position Overview:
The Sales Representative plays a key role in driving revenue and business growth in the hire and sales of construction equipment. This position is responsible for developing strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and implementing sales strategies that enhance market share and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and pursue opportunities for dry hire asset rentals and equipment sales
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
* Understand client needs and provide tailored equipment hire and sales solutions
* Collaborate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and best terms
* Prepare and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed performance targets
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify areas for growth
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions, quotes, and sales activity through a dedicated CRM system.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and after-sales support to drive retention
* Represent the business professionally in all client and supplier interactions

Key Selection Criteria:
Essential:
* Proven track record in sales, preferably within construction equipment or a related industry
* Minimum 2-3 years of demonstrated sales experience required
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Self-motivated with a high level of energy and a results-driven mindset
* Comfortable with cold outreach.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
* Demonstrated ability to create, manage and grow client relationships
* A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with a focus on outcomes
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to service excellence
* Australian work rights required for this position
Desirable:
* Experience in dry hire equipment sales or rental
* Knowledge of construction and earthmoving equipment
* Experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role. B2B experience a plus
* Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
