The Role

The role of the Operations Systems and Performance Manager is to develop and manage field work processes and systems, ensuring the efficient delivery of work and performance across the Division. This role will also oversee the Operations Performance Management Reporting Framework and management operation system reports. Interfacing with operations and understanding their needs, key responsibilities are:

* Liaise with Managers and Co-ordinators of accountable functions responsible for or likely to impact delivery of water and wastewater services.
* Create and oversee efficient processes and data collection for field operations to ensure tasks are completed effectively and in line with organisational goals.
* Review and analyse reports generated by management operation systems to identify areas for improvement and ensure operational efficiency.
* Continuously evaluate and refine systems to streamline operations and improve overall performance, addressing any issues that may arise in day-to-day operations.

What we're looking for

Proven background in managing operational processes and performance systems. The ability to manage performance reporting frameworks with communication and digital experience with a technical background.

* Degree qualification in a relevant discipline such as Management, Engineering, Business or equivalent level of competence.
* Significant experience influencing stakeholders responsible for works management systems and/or performance frameworks to deliver operational or customer outcomes.
* High level of communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
* Proven experience in managing operations and performance systems.

The Details

This role can be based in either Hobart, Launceston, or Devonport and attracts a salary of $152,924 - $169,915 (inclusive of superannuation), negotiable dependent on experience.
