Permanent – Full Time.
Practice Information
* This solo practice has one Doctor presently, one RN, and 2 EN that job share; there is no pathological service; the courier takes blood from the medical centre and the hospital on Mon‑Fri by 2pm.
* There is a Mental health team that comes once a week to Dysart.
* The Allied health team are based at the hospital – physiotherapy twice a week, social worker and OT once a week.
* The medical centre is a mixed billing practice – bulk billing for seniors and concession cards; all other patients are privately billed.
Qualifications & Experience
* AHPRA registration with 2 years Australian Medical system experience.
* Interest in rural medical practice and emergency.
After Hours Requirements
The medical centre covers the hospital 24/7.

About Dysart
* Dysart is a mining town of about 3,000 permanent residents and about 2,500 FIFO/DIDO; it is serviced by the medical centre and the local hospital. It is currently serviced by one Doctor who is acting as VMO right and attending to all the emergencies at the hospital.
* There are 2 footy fields, a town swimming pool, a gym and a civic centre.
* There are 2 lovely motels and a bowls club.
* Dysart is a mining town with an average age in the 20s, more men than women, and very few over 65 living in town.
