The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restoration Project Manager to oversee restoration projects from initial assessment through to completion. Working closely with the Restoration Team Leader and our General Manager, you will ensure seamless coordination between teams while delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.
Key responsibilities include:
* Collaborate with the Restoration Team Leader and Construction and Estimating Managers to ensure effective coordination across teams
* Scope, estimate, plan, and resource restoration works while ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and WHS requirements
* Develop and manage project schedules, holding internal teams and contractors accountable for quality and timely delivery
* Lead daily toolbox meetings to ensure technicians are prepared and resourced for scheduled works
* Prepare project estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts to ensure accurate costing and project profitability
* Oversee inventory, equipment, and asset management
* Coordinate restoration and make-safe works across a variety of claims including major and complex losses as well as business-as-usual claims
* Drive innovation by implementing and utilising advanced technology such as 3D scanning and digital restoration tools
* Troubleshoot technical issues with new technologies and support continuous team development through training and communication
* Manage the company's contents storage facility, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures
* Maintain accurate project updates within the internal job management system
* Manage client expectations through clear communication and regular progress updates to ensure a positive customer experience
* Support the ongoing training and development of restoration technicians in partnership with the Restoration Team Leader
* Conduct WHSE site audits, risk assessments, and implement risk mitigation procedures
* Participate in an on-call roster for out-of-hours make-safe works
Skills & Experience
* Proven supervisory experience across water, mould, and fire restoration
* Experience working on commercial, residential, and strata restoration projects
* Previous experience leading teams of technicians and subcontractors
* Strong time management and organisational skills with high attention to detail
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication skills with strong problem‐solving and multitasking abilities
* Strong customer service focus and relationship management skills
* Solid understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and procedures
Ideally You Will Have
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Restoration Supervisor managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Construction White Card
* Strong computer literacy and comfort working with digital systems (experience with Prime ecosystem advantageous)
* Current Working With Children Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
