Position Overview
An exciting opportunity for a dedicated General Practitioner to join a GP‐led medical practice located in the vibrant coastal town of Torquay, Victoria.
The practice operates within a modern, purpose‐built facility inside a bustling local shopping centre, providing an environment that prioritises high‐quality patient care and clinical autonomy.
The clinic offers seven fully equipped consulting rooms and a modernised treatment room, using Best Practice software and HotDoc online bookings.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to an established base of 30 to 35 patients per day.
- Provide diagnosing and treating services as a Healthcare Diagnosing or Treating Practitioner.
- Utilise integrated Chronic Disease Management support to deliver holistic care.
- Collaborate with experienced administrative staff, nurses, dental and allied health services.
- Engage in mentoring and supervisory opportunities for junior doctors.
- Apply special interests such as skin cancer medicine, women's health or minor procedures as desired.
Qualifications
- Qualified General Practitioner with experience in diagnosing and treating patients.
- Experience in or interest in primary care and chronic disease management is desirable.
