Workshop Support & Vehicle Logistics Coordinator (Full-Time)

We are a busy, premium European-vehicle workshop located in Bondi Beach, seeking a reliable, hands-on individual to support the daily flow of vehicles, parts, and operations across the business.
Important
This is not a general workshop assistant or trade assistant position.
We already have workshop assistants and qualified mechanics on the tools.
This role focuses on vehicle logistics, coordination, parts handling, and operational support between the workshop floor, front office, and back office.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle & Workshop Flow
* Coordinate vehicle positioning based on workshop workflow and customer expectations
* Safely move vehicles around the workshop and yard
* Load and unload vehicles onto and off hoists
* Wash, clean, and prepare vehicles to a high standard for customer handover
* Perform quality checks on completed vehicles prior to delivery
* Organise vehicles for after-hours collections (including lockbox preparation)
Parts & Logistics
* Check and log inbound parts on arrival
* Coordinate parts distribution with mechanics and workshop staff
* Follow up delayed or incorrect parts with suppliers
* Handle parts returns and track supplier credits
* Maintain basic parts tracking using spreadsheets (Excel)
Operations & Coordination
* Act as a liaison between the workshop floor, front office, and back office
* Assist with light administrative and operational coordination tasks
* Support overall workshop organisation, cleanliness, and efficient workflow
Requirements
* Full-time availability
* Valid driver’s licence
* Comfortable driving manual vehicles
* Fluent English (spoken and written)
* Comfortable with physical work (lifting, bending, standing, moving vehicles)
* Strong attention to detail
* Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Office, Excel)
* Confident communication skills (in person, phone, and email)
Preferred (Not Essential)
* Living locally in the Eastern Suburbs or Inner City
* Experience in automotive workshops, parts, logistics, warehousing, or detailing
* Familiarity with parts handling or inventory processes
* Comfortable test-driving or moving vehicles
