We are seeking a highly organized and motivated medical secretary to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a similar role, excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, and a professional communication style.
This is a permanent full-time position that requires strong communication skills to ensure patients are well-informed about surgery information.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing effective support to doctors and helping them manage schedules, tasks, and queries
* Liaising with anesthetists, assisting doctors, medical representatives, nurses and hospitals to ensure theatre lists are well managed and coordinated
* Preparing and ensuring the clinic runs smoothly
* Explaining billing policies, quoting and collecting surgical fees
* Maintaining patient records
* Stock management and liaising with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience as a medical secretary in a specialist practice
* Knowledge of Genie is preferred but not essential
* 'Can do' attitude who is highly organized and prides themselves on their attention to detail
* Empathetic and kind nature
* Punctual and robust work ethic
