Our Noosaville team at LifeCare is growing and we are looking for a Massage Therapist to join our team on a contracting basis.
You will provide holistic, integrated care to our clients, enhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing. You will work with clients with a wide variety of physical conditions and tailor your care to make a real difference in your client's quality of life. This role involves working within a collaborative team with Physiotherapists and other Massage Therapists.
In this role you will be:
* Assessing symptoms and medical history, making a diagnosis and developing care plans for individuals
* Manipulating muscles and other soft tissues
* Educating and training your clients on all aspects of therapy
* Providing your clients with goal‐setting activities and guidance on stretching, strengthening and improving posture
* Referring your clients to Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology treatment where required
* Liaising with various healthcare professionals to ensure care plans are formulated and monitored
* Documenting and reporting on your client's condition and progress

Qualifications and Requirements
* Qualification in Remedial Massage and/or Myotherapy
* Must have Medibank Private and other private health registration
* ABN or CAN and relevant insurance documents
